Kevin Koerber has spent over 7 years cutting and shaping, and his niche at The Bureau is the work most barbers rush through: beard lineups, edge work, and the precision shaping that turns a good haircut into something that looks finished.

His approach to beard work is methodical. He reads the face shape first — where the cheek line should sit, how the neckline should fall, how tight or natural the edge should look — and then executes from there. Whether your beard is short and maintained or longer and shaped, Kevin builds the trim around your specific features, not a generic idea of what a beard should look like.

Beyond beard work, Kevin is skilled with skin fades and straight razor work, which means he can handle a full service when you want a haircut and beard trim in one appointment. His edge work on fades is among the sharpest in the shop.

Originally from California and raised in Lawrence, Kansas, Kevin has been in Salt Lake City long enough to have built a solid client base on word-of-mouth and referrals. His clients come back specifically for his consistency — the trim looks the same every time, because Kevin works from the same standard every time.

When he is not at the shop, Kevin is on the mountain bike, on the snowboard, or eating tacos and advocating loudly for them to anyone who will listen.
