Sam Anderson

Sam Anderson has been cutting hair since 2016, and his path to The Bureau is genuinely one of a kind. Sam picked up the clippers in the military — he became the go-to person on deployments for anyone who needed a clean cut, and somewhere in those long stretches away, he realized this was what he actually wanted to do.

He left film school, enrolled at Utah's Barber School under Mr. Hite, and built a skill set that is as precise as it is relaxed. His approach in the chair reflects that background: methodical, detail-oriented, and calm in any situation.

Sam specializes in taper fades, clean finishes, and classic cuts — the kind of work that looks sharp without calling attention to itself. He pays close attention to the finishing details: the neckline, the edge work, the blend. That is where a good haircut becomes a great one, and Sam does not cut corners on it.

His clients know what to expect and they keep coming back for exactly that — a consistent result from a barber who takes the craft seriously.

Beyond the chair, Sam is into drawing, tattoos, motorcycles, skateboarding, film, and photography. He still has the eye for composition that came from film school, and you can see it in the way he approaches a cut — as something to be designed, not just executed.
